There is a prayer challenge going around and my name was added to Deanie Penicks list of 10 people that she will be praying for. Lord knows I need the prayers to be strong to continue the fight for justice in SLP. Everyone needs prayers for so many reasons, many that we never know about. My prayer list for now will include my sister Bonnie Wiltz Fairbanks who has had more trials to endure that most will ever know, for my mother, Barbara Wiltz Ledet that her cancer stays at bay so we can have many more cherished years with her, for my friend Judy Adams and ALL of those who have lost a child/grandchild to cancer, for my cousin Robbie Sebastien and all of his siblings who lost both their mother and brother in less than a year, for my friend Liz Durios Curios whose precious dog, Onyx, is battling cancer, for St. Landry Parish Government officials and councilmembers to have the change of mind and heart to do what is ethically, morally, and legally right for the citizens that elected them, (this includes all aspects of the government from the sheriffs dept, police dept, DA, Attorney General...all the way to Washington DC), for Lynette Artall Mengarelli who is also battling cancer, for Jeannine Wallace and Jim Wallace who have been sick, and for the continued good health of my children, brothers, sisters, and friends. Most of all I pray for peace in our world. Now it is your turn to pay it forward. (And for Meredith Anne Burleigh to get her knees fixed so she can get strong enough to come help us fight the fight going on in our parish government!)
