There is absolutely NO justification for wildlife to be in captivity, not matter how USDA, and the AZA (Asso. of Zoos & Aquariums) sin it. It has NOTHING to do with education or conservation. It has EVERYTHING to do with Exploitation AND GREED! More often than not, atrocities are committed that these organizations cover up. EXAMPLE: Where do you think the wild Animals come from? They are taken from their Mothers, in the wild,. If the Mother has to be killed to do it (ie Lions, Bears, Elephants) they will Kill them. EXAMPLE: What happens to the enslaved captives when they are to old to perform or exploit? Only the few are actually give to sanctuaries. MOST are sold to sports groups to be HUNTED DOWN AND KILLED so some insecure person and feel superior because they just got to KILL a Tiger, Lion, Elephant etc. The list goes on and on. Humans can not even BEGIN to care for these Animals. Baby Elephants are literally beaten to break their spirit so force them to do what humans want them to do. Animals to NOT perform because they want to or because they Love to, they perform because they are FORCED to. THAT is ENSLAVEMENT! Humans are SUPPOSE to be better than this. At least thats what we LOVE to tell ourselves. Instead OUR actions are cruel oppressive, inhumane and vile all in the name of ENTERTAINMENT. Thats Exploitation & GREED. USDA! Stop Cruelty to Animals in Aquariums, Zoos & Circuses!
