There is all sorts of deadfall dried branches and logs very suitable for wood burning stoves and fireplaces in piles in the Green Space. There is also all sorts on the ground to pick up. (Obviously do not cut down live trees lol) Help yourself but please help us keep it clean by putting what you dont want back in the piles. Lots of the branches we cut down are nice and dry and would make excellent kindling. There are logs and branches on the ground at the back. Help yourself and it helps us as well. Just please leave the area and the roadway clean so we dont have to pick up branches...Enjoy.!! I know there is someone in our group who would like to have some free wood and thinking of them being warmed in the winter by this wood from our VLA Green Space is a beautiful thought. Safety Notice (We are only sharing the property with one possible wasp nest at the very far right side of the Lot (right side facing lot from street but none of the deadfall is there, we have cleared it out.(Nest is on property line with neighbor Deana Lee McQuhae As with all woodlots, you need to be careful if you are allergic and just watch where you are grabbing, if they are there you will see them. There are no dangers other than the above one that we have seen but if allergic, this is a safety reminder and all people going on the Green space waive any claim against the owner or PGVLAEA Association..
