There is an expression biting off more than you can chew. I had been feeling this way about pastoring. The thing is that anything we do for God is more than we can handle on our own because we are not meant to do it on our own, we are meant to depend completely on God. He will equip us and give us the ability to do whatever He calls us to do. Sometimes its one day at a time, one hour at a time, one minute at a time but the key is to lean on Him and draw from His strength and wisdom. We get in trouble and get in over our heads like Peter when we try to do it on our own. When we do not feel sufficient for the job we must remember that His grace is sufficient!!!
