There is currently a by-election occurring in Qld and the voter backlash against an ultra conservative Liberal Party is significant. The Newman Liberal Govt in Qld has a horrible record against workers and taxpayers with unemployment up, thousands of workers sacked, attacks on Union members and their rights, a grotesque budget which targeted those that could least afford it. This is a big wake up call to all Govts around the country and especially the Federal Abbott Govt.
