There is great emphasis today on uniting professing Christians of all denominations and beliefs, which is referred to as "ecumenism". This is an organized effort to bring unity among all Christian believers. This seems noble at a glance, but stress is on unity at any cost—disregarding any barrier or any Scriptural or theological difference between denominations, while accentuation is placed only on the areas of agreement. This places the aggressive ones, the ones that intimidate and humiliate, in leadership. Others have no voice and if they speak out on any issue, they are considered contentions troublemakers that cause divisions. However, the true saints always have and always will refuse to be intimidated out of their testimony. This will work to the glory of God by making a separation between the saints of God and the world and the worldly order.
