There is much to say about miracles, fate, faith, and the future - TopicsExpress

There is much to say about miracles, fate, faith, and the future by every single choice we have made. It is somewhat like George Baileys insights from an angel in Its A Wonderful LIfe. He found how his life and the world would be different if he was no longer in the picture. On May 3rd, 1968, my whole family was scheduled to fly to Dallas from Houston on Braniff flight #352. My mother was determined NOT to be on plane She stated she would take a bus, train or drive and she would not fly. We, as kids, were excited. We had never flown. After much debate, tickets in hand and an imminent forfeit of the moneys spent, there were arguments and my mom stood firm and stoic. We took our packed bags, threw them in the light blue Ford Galaxy and drove to Ft. Worth. My father was ticked and we had a long quiet drive. Waking up the next morning, my grandfather brought my dad in the kitchen and says have you seen the paper?. On the front page, Braniff flight #352 went down and killed everyone on board. We were not on the plane thanks to the determination and intuition of my mom. In retrospect and parallel thinking of George Bailey, and of course gratefulness to my mom (may she rest in peace), how would the world be different today if we were on that plane? Looking back at what may have been a tragedy, I stand in awe. Maybe that bell did ring and 5 angels got their wings that day for my familys lives- Mom, dad, my older brother, me and my younger sister. I wish that all may find joy and abundance in our daily routines in the best that our lives have to give. I respect all beliefs in how you may choose during the holiday season. My way is to say Merry Christmas to my friends and family. Thanks mom. Ill see you on the brighter side. God Bless! And in reflection I truly must say, its a wonderful life. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Braniff_Flight_352
