There is never a dull moment in my life. I stopped by FAITH Farm to start my harvest for tomorrows CSA pick up when I see this very skinny lil dog. Im not totally sure but she looks like a girl, her tail is all the way tucked. I get her to come to me and she looks so sweet and hungry as she approaches I can see that it looks like she was skinned down her spine. It looks like maybe the other day when the tractors rolled through the fields this little one just laid down and got shaved across her back. Its been a couple of days since then and it looks really infected. she happily ate everything I could find. I needed to keep her close until i could figure out what to do. I started calling people close by and no one answered the phone. Back then Aylex Hakuai Araque called me back and I asked her to call Detroit Dog Rescue, but they were closed. Jan Robo came and we decided she would get the dog in her car and she would go to the Vet and I would go home and take care of our animals the ones we rescued years ago. Thank Goodness for good friends in the community in times of crisis. Thank you, Clarissa Camez, Thank you, Tamara French, Thank You, Emergency Vet, Jan Robo, and Aylex!
