There is no emoji to express how I feel...devastated, wounded,raw, heartbroken and thankful....in the last week our baby has been diagnosed with Type 1Juvenile Diabetes and has broken his collar bone...he has received excellent care and under gone more pricks and sticks than any person should ever have to....he is a trooper and super strong...this is some kind of test I know and can only hope that I am as strong as Liam to accept the challenge...he is the same boy whom I have loved since the day we learned we were expecting but here comes the broken hearted part...he is now insulin dependent for life...I am determined that it will be a normal life...carrying him up the stairs the other night I said, I love you Liam and in a hushed voice he whispered back, even thought I have Diabetes? Holding back my tears I said, even more because of it, you are still mommys boy...I love my son and pray for strength and understanding and nothing but good health and fullness of life for my boy...what more could a mother ask for?
