There is no substitute for being in person with another human being. I see social media as a complement to in person relating, just as telephone conversations are. Much has to do with your attitude, how and what you use social media. This video clip shows the negative side effects of near constant use while almost ignoring your world around you going on in the present and in person. A Lutheran Pastor gave a sermon on the family vacation in their car/van. Everyone is using an electronic device of some sort. They are not using that time to communicate with each other in person. They miss out on relating and being connected with each other. Sad. Here, I dont know who will read this, see the video, and take the time to give a meaningful comment. Cant be concerned about those who choose not to react somehow. I interact only with those who choose to respond. Theres always both sides of the story. On the plus side for prudent use, you get to enjoy your life in person and enjoy social media. Peeps my coffee salute to you, CHEERS :D
