There is nothing wrong with money and wealth. There is something wrong when people use wealth and money to manipulate the thinking and conscience of other people, whether with consent or otherwise. When money is used as a medium of exchange, the quality of life is enhanced; we dont have to have loads of things to barter. However, if the wealth is used to make other people less human than oneself or to justify why one is more successful than others, then something fundamental here has been twisted. Not everybody shares the same or similar levels of expectations about life. This creates yet another dimension between wealth and purpose to life. Why do we need to explain that there is a deeper purpose to life than attaining wealth? Just live and let live. There are many uncertainties in everyday living. So practically everybody is crazy.
