There is truth to what whoopi says. Its never ok, for ANY person to hit another person. Perfect example using kids. From experience, its not a healthy relationship when any problem cant be worked out in a healthy matter, and it doesnt mean it should be the end it means you have work on it to get back to a healthy one. I know what Ray rice did was above and beyond what is acceptable. But women need to realize that women fought for equality and day and age of the independent feminists are upon us. Men feel women are equals, there are no roles in relationships. If you dont want to get hit, then dont hit. Is it really hard to comprehend ? And everyone who thinks I have a strong opinion, yes maybe I do. But Ive experienced it and lived with an abusive partner. I had to explain to family friends and coworkers why I have marks all over my face and neck. So as a man on the other side of this conversation, I finally find it refreshing to hear a prominent women such as whoopi say how Ive felt for a long time. And for the record I am not condoning domestic violence. There is a point to what whoopi said, thats all.
