There isnt much to tell about my Daddy so far. We know He had a stroke, and his only kidney isnt working. The Dr at the E.R said his bloodwork showed a lot of things going on. He wasnt really specific about what that was, just that he is a very sick man and his condition is extremely serious. He cant walk on his own, his blood pressure was very low, which is very odd because he normally has very high blood pressure, they have a catheter on him, and have him sedated at least for tonight, and the Dr. asked my mother if it was ok to put him on a ventilator if the need arises. That really frightened my mother of course. We will not know the damage that has been done until he sees the specialist later this morning. He can speak, and he knows who we all are but he cant hold a conversation. They finally got him into a room in I.C.U at 1:00 this morning. I want to thank my Aunt Elsie Harris, she Stayed all night with hi so my mother and sister and I could go rest for a bit. I also want to thank so many of you. I was overwhelmed with the comments and prayers going out for him on my previous status. Than I want to express gratitude to friends like Sara Kay Snowden, Francie Lawrence, Christina Williams Burress, Travis Carpenter, Jeremy Twomey, Diana Elick YutmeyerAmber Danforth-RobinsonMarilyn MooreMelody Brummett StevensTracy Carpenter Bailey, Mary Miller Richardson, Amy L CroweGeorgiana Eggers, and sweet Gale Miller Borders. Thank you guys for your kindess and taking your time to pray for all of us. And than my best friends in the world Angie Dell, Penny Johnson KelpLeslie Miller Nieber,and Tammy Lloyd Turpin, I love you all and appreciate you being there if I need you. And I am truly overwhelmed by friends that have commented beautiful things even though they havent seen me in years and years like Kim Harvey Young,thank you sweetie, and Amy Haler who is always so thoughtful and sweet to me, Jamie Rutter Hamilton, your thought and prayers touched my heart, and precious Cara Stockton Burris, who said if she could do anything for me, to let her know. Girls this means a great deal to me. I know this status is getting long but at times like these you stop to appreciate life and the people in yours. Even though I dont see you all very much, and some of you I never see, just knowing I have good friends who care warms my heart and soul.
