There used to be a tower like this on the face of a butte at the Star Plunge in Thermopolis Wyoming. It threw you down about a gajillion feet of track on a little cart that skipped across a narrow swimming pool that was at least a mile long, at a speed of 150 miles per hour. Maybe some of those measurements are just my inner childs memories but that is how it felt. If you managed to touch the far wall without touching the bottom, you got a free ride! Now Im not sure if that was the pools rule or just my dad saying it was. Thank you so much, Allen Burns. I had not thought of the Screamin Mimi in at least 30 years and it is unbelievably good to see her in my minds eye again. Woooo!
