There was a bill passed in 1987 for amnesty that is still on the books. As usual the democrats lied about this one too. So why do we need to waste time on another bill when we already have one. Open up the bill already on the books abide by it and stop wasting our DAMN MONEY you PsOS. Ted Cruz is Right - Again Dear Conservative: Its no secret that Sen. Ted Cruz is loathed by GOP insiders here in Washington. But the fact is Sen. Cruz was right about Obamacare. Its a total disaster! If there was ever a cause worth fighting for its the FULL repeal of Obamacare. Millions of Americans have already lost their health insurance. Millions more will soon learn they cant keep their doctors either. Sen. Ted Cruz is also right about Speaker John Boehners path to citizenship for illegals. Its instant amnesty. Its political suicide too. Heres what Sen. Cruz says: Why on earth would the House dive into immigration right now? It makes no sense, unless youre Harry Reid. Republicans are poised for an historic election this fall--a conservative tidal wave much like 2010. The biggest thing we could do to mess that up would be if the House passed an amnesty bill--or any bill perceived as an amnesty bill--that demoralized voters going into November... Anyone pushing an amnesty bill right now should go ahead and put a Harry Reid for Majority Leader bumper sticker on their car, because that will be the likely effect if Republicans refuse to listen to the American people and foolishly change the subject from Obamacare to amnesty.” They should probably go to get their heads examined too, before they pull the trigger. (My take, not cruz!) Now is the time to act. If youll recall, Speaker John Boehner led House Republicans to vote with Pelosi to cut retiree benefits veterans just before Christmas. When conservatives and tea partiers complained, Boehner lashed-out at them. But this heartless and lll-thought-out Boehner-led vote may yet come back to haunt those who followed the Speaker. Now Boehner is LEADING House Republicans to cast a vote with Pelosi for instant amnesty. Not to be crass and shallow, but isnt winning the next election more important than amnesty for millions of new Obama voters? At least, thats what Republican Leaders said about Obamacare. Isnt it time for a change in House Leadership?
