“There was a larger concern about the dog than there was about the human life.” That says it right there. I was thinking that from the beginning. Everyone was talking about this poor dog, and how awful it is that OCPD lost an officer, with absolutely no mention of the loss of human life. Never was any sadness shown for the boy, by anyone in the media or online. I saw so many facebook posts condemning this kid. Saying things like Its a good thing hes dead, or hed have to deal with me. This person didnt have a criminal background, and owned the car he was driving. He was killed for speeding and fighting off a DOG that was attacking him. It doesnt matter if it was a police dog, or not. Tragic, and unnecessary loss of human life. I feel bad for the dog too, but come on...this kid should not have been killed. Its funny how a few hours after this story originally aired, and the police captain came on TV saying the findings are untrue and theyll do whatever they can to prove that, that the CMEs opinion suddenly changed and he felt he should email Capt.
