There was a raging forest fire and every animal was sure to die. But on the banks of the river sat a scorpion. The fire ever growing closer to him. On a log in the river sat a frog safe from the fire. The scorpion yelled out to the frog hey frog can you please come get me and carry me across the river on your back to the other side? The frog said I would but youll sting me and Ill die. The scorpion replies how silly would that be, if I did that we would both die. The frog thought of course that makes perfect sense. He paddled the log over let the Scorpion climb onto his back and started paddling the log across the river until the reached the safe shore on the other side. As soon as they hit the land though the frog felt a terrible pain. He had been stung by the scorpion and was near death. Before he died he asked the scorpion why would you do that...I helped you. I saved you. Why would you kill me? To which the scorpion replied I couldnt help it. Im a scorpion. The frog died. Dont be a frog.
