There was a really annoying article on motherhood circulating on fb and probably other places the last couple days. Something about motherhood not being the most important job in the world. Actually it is. So here is one that argues for motherhood, and intelligently, by arguing against limiting the child care discussion to the economic imperative. Below is what happes when you look at it, as we have, on purely market driven terms: youre not allowed to ask whether a solution for the mother also works for the child, since thats de facto unfeminist. Women, by modern logic, win by having economic agency and lose by being economically excluded.
