Those who are choosing to deal with those unregistered tax preparers who arent EROs will face a serious delay in receiving your refund. The IRS has put restrictions on bank account direct deposits...depending on how your tax preparer is handling the disbursement of your taxes, will determine if youre affected or not. Many people will have to wait an additional 4-6 weeks, to receive a paper check in the mail, for those preparers who are improperly using Form 8888.
