There will be a regular work session for the Oyster Bay Railroad Museum this Saturday, November 2 at our display yard beginning at 9am. Last week we made great progress on our goal to complete the repainting of Caboose #50 in spite of a short crew. Unfortunately we are rapidly running out of time for this project, and we cant leave it with bare metal for the winter! This Saturday, we will focus on the completion of Caboose #50 roof repainting. We need to get a bit more loose paint off so that we can do this right. Using paint stripper makes the job easier, but we still need people to get the job done. Once stripped, we need to apply primer and paint. If we get enough people, we can also address the peeling paint on the WF Cab. Please consider coming down to lend a hand...we need it! Thank you!
