There will become a time when every pastor will have their ministry tested. It will reveal the true foundation on what it is built on. A ministry built on wood, hay, or straw will be burned up (wont survive) when times get tough (like now). This is a ministry based on works (dos, donts, fear, and mixing old and new testament to get a desired result for the present moment). However, a ministry built on silver (redemption) and preach to people as if they are gold (who we are in Christ), their ministry will flourish even in the testing times. They will have more than enough to continue expanding the kingdom! Hallelujah! Pastors preach to your congregation as precious stones. You dont have to whip them. Jesus took the beating for them! Better yet, Tell them who they are in Christ even if you dont think they deserve it. There is correction in the Word but it is a loving and gracious correction for those in Christ. Christ will be there for the Crisis! Dont manipulate just preach the finished work of Jesus that will last forever. That is the GRACE message! 1 Corinthians 3:10-15
