Therell be four baptisms/thanksgivings on Sunday. Here are some words from the families concerned: “Hi. I’m Karen Sharrock. Nick, Emily, Leah and I (& now Lucy of course), have been coming to St Michaels since we moved back here 7 years ago - Nick very rarely, due to not being in the country most weekends unfortunately. Previously I was a St Michaels girl, every morning and evening for as long as I can remember, well I was born in 1970 and I think I came from then onwards!” Hi, we are Neil and Lisa Firth, parents to Mitchell and Isla. We have been part of the church since 2009 when we were married here. Isla was also baptised here last year. We have been made to feel very welcome and we look forward to our future as a family with the church “Hi our names are Hannah and Adam and we have a beautiful baby daughter named Alice, we are having a Thanksgiving service for our little daughter today, as she was very ill when she was born and we would all like to give thanks that our prayers were answered and Alice is here safe and well.” “Hi I’m Karen Egan, I’m Oliver’s mum. We’ve been part of this church family for over two years – I was in a really dark place when I arrived, but thanks to Jesus and St Michael’s I feel like I’ve passed from darkness to light, and I thank God for the gift of Oliver”. See you all on Sunday - Andy
