Theres a chance for a few flurries in the forecast. Heres the quick version of what Im thinking. Well see a 20 to 30 percent chance for a few light and scattered rain showers Tuesday throughout the day. After sunset Tuesday evening look for flurries and/or a few light snow showers to be possible from Tuesday late night into Wednesday morning. The chance for rain showers and flurries will mainly be held to areas well north of I-40 and the Smokies...especially the light snow showers. Were not expecting any of this to stick, due to the ground temperature being too warm. However, a few areas (like the Smokies) could see a very minor and brief accumulation on elevated surfaces. Look for sunshine to return as Wednesday progresses and abundant sunshine for Thursday through the weekend!
