Theres a lot to be learned about the sheer level of control a delusion has over a personss mind, here. First is the outrageous claim that Climate Change is a more serious threat to America than ISIS. Then theres the recasting of the core of the debate being about two opposing arguments. So a quick couple of facts. #1. We are just 4 weeks away from hitting the 18 year mark for zero Global Warming. During this time temps have been flat and slightly falling, up until the last few years when temps have been DROPPING. There is no Global Warming going on. This cant be argued against, its simply an empirical fact. #2. Its not about two opposing arguments as this commentator suggests, its about a belief system versus the science. Its about computer models that spit out forecasts that have NEVER happened, versus the observable science. Point in case; Al Gore used these predictive models to claim the Arctic sea ice would be -GONE- by 2014. Its 2014, and we just hit the largest ever recorded amount of sea ice other than 1964. The complete -opposite- of what the computer models predicted. If you still believe in Climate Change, I suggest you actually have never spent any time studying what the Scientists that disagree are saying AND the actual DATA, and youve never thought critically about what you actually believe in the first place. Yes, there was a time I too believed in Global Warming, for about 6 months, over a decade ago. But I looked into it. And it doesnt take a whole lot of effort to learn that everything we are going through has happened before, many times, is cyclical, and will happen forever. The ridiculous new banner of Climate Change was created to be an impossible to falsify doctrine of madness. The Climate has ALWAYS changed, and always WILL. And something you should remember from Junior High science classes is that if something cant be tested nor falsified, IT IS NOT SCIENCE. I have been warning local farmers and all my fb friends for years about the very real possibility of a collapse into a mini ice-age. What happens before these 30-80 year mini-ice-age events? First there is a spike in warming, then a leveling off before a CRASH into a terrible time of purging as the earth goes cold and very dormant for a long time. All the current signs suggest that we are staring this event right in the face, RIGHT NOW. I have been making predictions for 5 or 6 years based on this possibility, and every single prediction I have made has proven correct. So far. I YEARN to be proven WRONG, and soon, because I for one have zero interest in trying to survive a mini-ice-age. I probably wouldnt, just to be realistic. But for the record, I will again make my predictions for this winter. And how I pray I am wrong. This winter is going to be terribly cold. Last year we had an early winter and a late spring. This year we will have an even earlier winter and an even later spring. The only possibility for altering this will be if the El Niño (which is being very bi-polar right now and isnt sure if its going to grow or shrink), will expand and become more powerful and bring some much needed warmth and moisture to the West Coast. Pray for that El Niño to grow, we need it. This winters temps and snow fall will both hit all-time records, especially in the Eastern regions of the US. Last years winter was bad, but this years winter will be very much out to prove that last year was merely a warning of things to come, an opportunity to prepare, which of course, no one did, because theyre told the opposite is true. The growing season for this year was terrible, and for next year will be 7-10 days shorter again. And now for a real dire prediction. If the Icelandic volcano POPS, really POPS, then it will be highly unlikely that we will not enter a mini-ice-age. If that Volcano popped during the 1980s, it would not have been that big of a deal, but if it pops now as temps are rapidly dropping, it will be the straw that broke the camels back. The level of ash it will eject into the upper atmosphere will be all thats needed to trigger a mini-ice-age. So watch that volcano, and any others that might also pop. What should you do? Buy very warm clothes. Clothes that would still keep you warm if you had no source of heat for a week. Cold snaps cause electricity to go down all the time. And start thinking about keeping a few weeks of food at home, and some extra gasoline.You shouldnt be needing these things this winter, but you need to start preparing nonetheless. be smart, be safe.
