Theres a new bug out there that has a lot of potential to cause damage and very little skill to exploit it, meaning every script kiddy hacker wannabe will be copying the exploit off a forum and trying it. That makes this exploit a particularly nasty vulnerability and it affects anything based on Unix that uses a BASH shell...including OS X Mavericks and home security systems. Patches are out for most *nix operating systems, but Apple hasnt released theirs yet.
