Theres been something Ive wanted to talk about here for a long time now. For a lot of people who talk to me regularly, this wont come as a shock. To the rest of you, it was likely youd find out sooner or later anyway. The long and short of it is, Im transgender. This means that my physical body, and mental perception of myself dont quite line up properly. I am, for all intents and purposes, female. For the past 2 years I have been seeking treatment to bring my body in line with my feelings, and to keep my life moving forward. In that time I have met some amazing people, achieved some amazing things, and learned important lessons. I still have a long way to go though, and I hope youll stick along for the ride. I am not becoming someone else, Im becoming more myself than Ive ever been. I am still obsessive, nerdy, and interested in all manner of weird and wonderful things. So, you may be thinking, what does this mean for you? Well, only one thing really. Id like to be referred to by my preferred name and pronouns. The name I have chosen is Alice, and Id like to be referred to using female pronouns. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
