Theres too much to Learn:School experience gives us a mistaken assumption. In school, learning is organized around courses, a define body of knowledge. It is as if we had to eat an entire cow, even if we wanted only a quick hamburger. So we are left with the belief that to learn something means mastering every detail covered in the thick, heavy textbook. That image helps to kill any joy or interest we might find in the subject. We feel overwhelmed, tired before we begin, and decide to put things off until we are able to tackle them again. But,The Real-World is totally different. There are no subjects, no courses, no fixed body of knowledge that is required. Instead,Learning is an ongoing process in which you first identify the things that intrigue you, then find out about them to whatever degree you want.Next, you process that knowledge and built on it, fitting it in where it is useful for your purposes. You then make a decision about whats truly useful and worth keeping, while noting where you can find out the rest when and if you need it. Finally, you start the same cycle over again.. And you have a choice to retain and grasp and hold on..Just my thought for tonight.. Godbless
