These guys are truly amazing! On the 11th May Mackenzie Bonner, Josh Price and Matthew Jones lost their great friend Brad in a nasty motocross accident. Our Air Ambulance crew did their very best to save Brad, taking him and another rider to hospital, but tragically, he could not be saved. In memory of Brad, Mackenzie (16), Josh (16) and Matthew (16) are now undertaking an epic journey to travel the length of Britain (873.3 miles), in the hope of raising at least £4,000 for HIOWAA. Collectively, they will be cycling, running, kayaking, hiking etc to try to rack up the miles. In their words ‘It costs £4,000 a day to keep this lifeline running, and this is our minimum target. Who knows who they will have to save tomorrow?’ As of today, they have raised an incredible £3,423.10 (and this doesn’t include Gift Aid) on their Just Giving Page.
