These last several morning have been very nice for me to go walking with Bailey. The temperature and humidity have been low making it more comfortable for me. Again, this morning we were treated to more of Gods creatures. First, as we started, there was Mocking Bird in on of our trees. As it sang and then stopped, another in the distance, echoed back the same song. Then we came upon a large rabbit in a yard that, I guess because of its size or age, seemed to have no fear of us. A little further we saw two small bunnies munching in a yard that immediately hopped away as we neared. We met two ladies on different streets that were also walking with their dogs. In seeing these birds and animals with the beautiful mornings, who can rightfully deny there is a God. The other day, we took our youngest grandchildren to buy school supplies. It is that time of year where most young people are about to return to school. They were excited and looking forward to their first day back. I remember when I was young, I was pretty much the same way. I think a lot of young people are. My grandson will be in middle school for the first time. The exciting times that young people look to with great anticipation are the days like that, plus the first day of high school and the first day of college. I wonder what it would be like if everyone looked forward to heaven with as much excitement and anticipation. The Apostle Paul looked forward to Heaven and being with Jesus as seen in Phillipians 1:21-23 “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I cannot tell. For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.” And Peter, also looked forward to Heaven , 2 Peter 3:13 But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. Lets get excited people and lets allow others to see our excitement.
