These local children found this sick pup and brought her to the side of the road so she would be safe from traffic. They also covered her with some fabric to keep her warm as she appeared to be shivering. Then these amazing kids found a local person who could call DAR Sadly, when we got there, it was too late. The dog had been suffering from distemper and was severely dehydrated and was barely alive. As you can see in the photo she is just skin and bones! At least DAR was there to administer pain medication so at least this poor pup could die without suffering any more. These kind kids did an amazing job and are proof that you are never too young to make a difference!!! We are happy that the dog has been released from her intense suffering and finally is at peace.
