These maps show how low income and high income areas have shuffled around Texas biggest cities and changed the landscape of the cities themselves. In some cities, like Austin, the affects of booming industry and gentrification are clearly visible, consolidating low-income areas into tighter areas and further away from the downtown core. But in other cities, like San Antonio and Houston, lower income parts of town seem to be growing while high-income areas solidify their slice of the city. Quote from MYSA
