These people, who believe that the Earth is only 5,000 years old, are supported by a real scientist, Dr. Elizabeth Mitchell, who got a bachelors in chemistry and a doctorate in gynecology. But she has no credentials in the relevant fields, such as geology, anthropology, genetics, astronomy, etc. I have a degree, too, in journalism, and I did some post-graduate studies, but I dont dare deliver babies. These people are now demanding equal time on Cosmos. Maybe those of us who believe in evolution should ask for equal time on the hundreds of TV shows by religious hucksters who promote ignorance of science as a virtue.
