These verses assert that mere good deeds without the correct faith will be of no avail on the day Judgement Those who disbelieve and hinder (others) from the Path of God, He shall render in vain their deeds. Quran Chapter 47, Verse 1. And those who disbelieve, stimbling (with destruction) shall be for them, and He shall render (all) their (good) deeds in vain. Quran Chapter 47, Verse 8. That is for they hated what God sent down, so shall He render null their deeds. Quran Chapter 47, Verse 9. Verily, those who disbelieve and hinder (others) from the path of God, and oppose the Apostle after that the guidance hath been made manifest unto them, can never harm God in any way; and He will make null their deeds. Quran Chapter 47, Verse 32. That is for they follow what displeaseth God, and hate what is His pleasure, so hath He made null their deeds. Quran Chapter 47, verse 28.
