They have already declared it legal, according to their interpretations of religion, for landlordlism and unequal distribution of national wealth and class distinction. They want to see all present courts of law abolished and justice meted out by ecclesiastical courts. Banks will be abolished. In order to secure the leadership of the world and domination of Islam they will propagate the Jihad and the Muslims will be converted into a jingoistic and chauvinistic society... But we are afraid that with the demand for pan-Islamism, the unification of Middle Eastern countries and by the passing of Objective Resolution [by the Indian Muslim League], the reactionary propaganda may have its effects. These so-called religious group may be successful in intimidating and cowing down the regime in power with these demands and make them fall prey to their doctrines. Mr. Chairman, this conference is endeavoring to advance the cause of peace. I would like to emphasizes to the delegates of this conference in general, [and] from UK and America in particular, that the efforts of Britain and the American government who want [to] unite the Muslim on the basis of their so-called religious beliefs are fraught with dangerous possibilities.
