They just announces the death of Newcastle town central to day :-( with the cutting of the rail line on boxing day - this will take us to the bad old days - We have a rail system that works - in to Newcastle 500m from the beach - 100ms from the harbour - it s great for tourism and bring people in to and getting out of town and getting to the beach ! It works and its not broken - They want to make it Hard I eave on the train to get to Sydney in the early hrs of the morning or come back then with lots of equipment - their is no so called light rail -and may not be for years - so buses what chance would there be a bus at 1-2-3 AM etc. ! Im not the only one going to work or somewhere ! or to get me back home ! or get me too the train station at Wickham -No one wants to walk a round town in the early hrs of the morning in the cold - so I have to leave 50mins a head of time to catch a train I wont be the only one ! Now what if Your Disabled and trying to get here or travel some where - get off a train at wichham change with gear and get on to another light rail or bus for now - but not in the AM - always seems to be people on the train at all hours -stop the greed GPT - stop Destroying Newcastle Government and GPT -If it becomes to hard to get here people wont come - with the new UNI at civic more cars In town - but no parking - where they could just get off at civic Now ! - SAVE OUR RAIL In Newcastle -so many reasons to keep the rail - the light rail is a nice thought - why cant we have both - or just leave what works a lone ---- Stop Hurting and Destroying Newcastle ---- Cutting the rail Into Newcastle Is a stupid STEWPID STUPID IDEA ! --Speak Up Now and Save Our Rail In Newcastle !
