They say cats bring us dead animals because they do it for their own young when teaching them how to hunt. We seem to them to be gimpy grown up cats who somehow missed out on a survival lesson. Very thoughtful. And because of that thoughtfulness, Im going to choose not to scream, coming out of my sick room to get tissues, having just tripped over a dead mouse. In the doorway.
