They took MaKenzie back late this evening for her vac change. She is looking great, but we are still getting there...at least this week, next week then we can maybe talk about going home...Ultrasound was good..Xray showed a little bit of fluid around left lung, which kinda shocked me a little as she is up walking 4 to 5 times a day, she is using her spirometer like she should. Surgeon said alot of times coming on and off the vent like she has you will see that. so they ordered some lidocaine patches for her back to help her. Resting now and hoping from sedation this evening and her routine pain meds she can get some rest. Praying she gets a good night sleep....
