Theyre baaaaaack! Least Terns, Royal Terns, Sandwich Terns all with fledges, Forsters, Gull-billed and Caspian Terns in the house, Laughing Gull fledges up the whazoo, Short-Billed Dowitcher, Willet, several sandpiper species, Red-Knots, Wilsons Plover, Piping Plover and on and on.......over 2,500 birds in the Fort De Soto Park Bird Sanctuary today seen while bird stewarding (thats 30 acres chock full of birds!!), DISPERSAL AND MIGRATION in full effect!!!! Come out and volunteer to steward, I havent seen a lot of our regulars this year, COME BACK, Ft D is glorious as always to protect!!!
