Things I dont like about the holidays: #5 Pine needles! They never go away! You vacuum them up, walk away, and when you come back there they are again. #4 Glitter! I hate you to the ends of the earth! You stick to everything...except the very thing that we apply you to. Seriously, we can put a man on the moon but we cant make a way for glitter to stay put? Of course the exception here is when it gets on your face...then it aint going nowhere! #3 Fake snow! A special thank you to Elizabeth Gridley Favelland Buddy the elf (on the shelf) for making it possible to feature this new pain in my rear on the list. 😜( I still love you though, Liz! The cookie cake made it a little better) #2 Traffic, especially mall traffic! Seriously, everyone just go home and get out of my way. This brings the added joy of multiplying the number of idiots who cant drive OR park! Yay Christmas! #1 And speaking of Christmas!! The whole keep Christ in Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Jesus is the reason for the season argument. NO HES NOT! Well, in my life, Hes the reason for EVERY season, everything. But Hes not the reason the world celebrates the holiday! It is a pagan holiday that has nothing to do with the birth of Christ. Christians just choose to celebrate it on that day. So leave the unbelievers alone and let them celebrate their holiday in peace. You say Happy Holidays, I say Merry Christmas. Whats the big deal? And thats my soap box for the day. When I get the stick out of my butt Ill make a list of stuff I love about the holidays. But for now it is what it is...Happy Xmas!
