Things about me. 1. Going to School with my brother and people not knowing we were even related. 2. Learning to drive in a Holden HQ with a column change and nearly ending up driving up a bank on Kopuku Road cos I was too busy trying to look at the gears instead of the road. 3. Loved playing scrabble with my Nan although did note that she did not like losing. 4. Spent a lot of summer holidays camping with family and playing last card torture. All I can say is I didnt like losing either. 5. Mum and Dad taking us swimming at the Mangatangi river rapids (kirkwoods) just before East Group Swimming Sports Day. Apparently it was to make us swim faster and harder...dont think bombs were a part of the sports day bro...?? 6. At the age of 15 when you could finish college at that age winter was a bad time for me. I always wanted to quit school cos it was too cold to get out of bed. Dumb I know and my Dad thought so too. So lucky my Dad ignored my whinging cos I would have been a truck driver. 7. Oh yeah I wanted to be a truck driver 8. Nearly strangled myself at my Aunty Lindas house aged 5. Tried to climb a tree with a rope and tied the rope around the tree and myself and scaled the trunk only to slip and the rope ended up around my neck. Nearly ended my life before it began. Lucky my Tahitahi cousins were there (love them)I ended up with the wicked rope burn on my neck though and scar for months. 9. Left scissors on the couch they ended up down the back of the couch and when my Mum sat down they ended up literally stabbing her in the back. That was the worst day ever for me. 10. Love kinas kept in jar for weeks on end. Yummo
