Things are quiet around here on the guest front during winter. During breaks between guests Im supposedly catching up on neglected gardening and painting (oops havent started that yet!). We are also going to build another guest room this winter which hasnt been started but hubby assures me it WILL happen. Maybe Spring??? Anyhow the weekend was majorly busy with hubby shearing the majority of our ewes, it took him 2 days and I dont think he can walk properly today, old age is a terrible thing, lol! Ive realised that being a roustabout is definitely NOT my calling - my fleece throwing leaves something to be desired (was going to take a photo to share but decided Id just be embarrassing myself). It was definitely one of the main highlight of our New Zealand trip. Highly recommended for people who are travelling with friends or family. The place was awesome, clean and we really enjoyed our place there. We also had a chance to feed the farm animals and also did some simple manual work during the farm stay.
