Things can change at an amazing speed in the Nakuru County leadership! It seems like Eng James Nganga has finally made it to become the new MD of water services provider for Nakuru municipality, NAWASSCO, replacing the efficient Eng John Cheruiyot whose term expires next month and who was unceremoniously and prematurely sent on compulsory leave by the companys Board of Directors whose authenticity is still questionable. However, it should not be forgotten that Nganga though relatively younger, is part of the NAWASSCO success story, having served under Cheruiyot as the Technical Manager and we wish him well in his new position. For those looking at it tribally, the dashing Eng Japheth Mutai is still at the helm as CEO of Rift Valley Water Services Board. Seems like Governor Kinuthia Mbugua’s government which owns the public water company, was doing an UhuRuto tribal balancing act here.
