Things that made me happy today...No alarm, no snooze button and enjoying my morning snuggled in flannel, the sound of gravel as a friend slowly pulls away from my house, the clean smell of fabric softener, a Sonic pit-stop, able to mop my floor on my knees, the Rrrrruummbble-Rrrrrroooaarr of my neighbors Harley bike, the pulsating city sounds of a typical busy Sat. morning.... engines racing, trucks backfiring, horns honking, some kid buzzing around the block on his scooter, a group of giggly teenagers laughing and clowning around as they pass my house, neighbors calling out to one another across the way....All the while my feathered friends that make this neighborhood their home are sitting out on their front porch calling out across the way to their neighbors, singing and chirping out their happy melodies, just happy to be alive...Just like me!
