Things this past two weeks have been insane. Two Sundays ago I took a nose dive and was is absolute free fall in terms of my health and time on this planet. Currently Im in the UWMCs ICU and Ive been channeling my inner warrior and fighting very literally as hard as I can for my life. These past two weeks have been full of needles, tubes, antibiotics, painkillers, intubations, monitors, tests, blood, sweat and tears. Ive also lost my ability to speak as Ive had a tube down my throat that bypasses my vocal chords, but has been breathing for me and keeping me alive. Luckily I can tolerate being awake with this tube and have managed to claw my way out of a even more grim situation. I finally feel like Im coming out of the other side of that tunnel today thanks very much in particular to Mary Jo and Julien as well as Julien Dollon and Michelle Vera Champley. To everyone else who has reached out to my family, thank you so much in our time of need, you truly cannot understand how grateful I am to you. Tomorrow in all likelihood Im going to get a trache tube placed surgically which will hopefully give me time to rebuild and condition my body while I wait for my double lung transplant. As of right now there is no plan or idea of when I can come home but its no longer something that would be considered impossible, which was looking like reality not too long ago. Thank you all for your concern and to to everyone who has reached out to help my family. I love you all.
