Think on This..... I reflect back on my health crisis and think about where I am now in my walk with the Lord. Though not a perfect walk, it IS a closer walk. This perhaps is what the Lord wanted in the first place. In my crisis I prayed desperately... Lord deliver me out of this!!!!. Looking back I retrospectively hear the Father say Son, Im delivering by means of this. My prayer was for better health but now I see that his purpose was for a closer walk. As I sit tapping the keys of this keyboard writing this message... my spirit overflows with joy and heaviness. Truth be told, some of the things we want out of are the very things that the Lord uses to bring us closer to him. Hmmm. Is it possible that a lot of what we pray to be delivered from is what the Lord intended for us to be delivered by? Which would mean that we actually sometimes pray to be delivered from the instrument of our deliverance. We call deliverance coming out of sickness while God calls it getting closer to him. We call deliverance getting a job while God may call it learning to trust him. The extent of Gods deliverance goes far beyond our acquisition of physical and tangible things but rather qualities that make us look more like him. Now Bless the Lord and Think on THIS!!!!!!!
