Thinking about going to sleep but just cant seem to get there. Went to bed last night (Sunday) at 11:00 knowing that I had to get up at 3:30 am to drive to a race. Well at 1AM ... still awake... 2:10 still awake then must have slept until 3:15, got up, got dressed, fed the dogs and was on my way by 4:20. Met Cherie Judd and Dove at 5:30 and we were on our way. The day was a little warm but the racing was perfect. Shiner my 1 year old boy raced as an FTE (first time entered ) straight racer. He won his first two races which moved him up to the high point race with Garis, Kamiah and Cayman. Those Koski boys dominated the third program high point race. At the end of the day Garis captured 1st. place and best of breed, Shiner was right on Garis s tail to come in second to his dad for 5 points! 5 points!! Not bad for an fte. Kam won high point veteran and bench champion. Cayman came in 3rd. over all. Thank you SWEPT members for putting on a great LGRA, we are happy to be a part of the first LGRA event for the club.
