Thinking about my mom today..she had a mild heart attack yesterday. She is in ICU-and is recovering. The thing is, she is so stubborn , that the only thing bothering her is being poked round the clock. She said its disturbing her rest...but thats Mom. She Is now realizing, after battling multiple illnesses, that she needs to move to Oregon so my sister and I can keep an eye on her and help get her healthy. She has always been independent and a strong lady, so in a word, she feels lost. Independence n strength has helped her get through the hardest of situations, some so horrible, and some heartbreaking-like when my Step-dad passed away. I know its hard mom, but Candy and I love u so, n its the best thing. We will always make sure you have your independence, long into your old age-as much as possible. She doesnt have facebook, but please pray for her transition-as she does not have the fondest of memories here when she lived her 40 years ago. This Is not gonna be easy for her...thank you, friends..
