They will skip right over the ones that are priced higher than others comparable. 3.) DIRT AND MESS... The biggest complaint and most distracting to buyers when they are viewing a house, i.e. dirt, messes, piles, and personal belongings. Even savvy homebuyers are distracted by relatively clean home with just a few messes like dirty dishes in the sink or doggie doo in the yard, or papers, mail, books or clothes lying out in the open. These things cause the viewer to fixate on the obstructions rather than focus on what is so fabulous about your property. 4.) LOTS OF LITTLE MALFUNCTIONS... Buyers will flick the switches, open and close drawers, doors and blinds, cabinets, gates and fences, will notice uneven tiles and surfaces, hear leaky pipes and faucets, feel for the air/heat to work well, you get the picture. When they see a bunch of these little things they will think the whole place is rickety. It is not too expensive to take care of these little things - especially if it will help to get your house sold quickly!
