Third Place goes to Bernice Burgos! Bernice’s whole family is a huge part of TFL. She comes to classes regularly with her mom, aunts and uncles. We aren’t kidding when we say Train for Life is like family! Bernice came in as a girl who was disgusted by the thought of anything green, who now drinks green smoothies! Obsessed with getting stronger, she never limits herself and is always willing to step out of that comfort zone in the gym. She’s always smiling, unless she’s swinging a 40kg bell – then she’s serious… She’s filled with sass and if you’re in class with her it’s sure to be a good one! After a short hiatus from TFL, Bernice came back determined, and proved herself with drastic before and after photos. With her dedication and love for strength we believe her health and fitness future is looking bright! We are eager to continue to motivate her towards becoming the person she was always meant to be.
