Thirteen years ago a student entered my world with her big personality, her divergent ways of thinking, and her enormous talent. Since that first meeting, she has been a source of genuine and consistent joy in my life. She was a soprano that I could listen without ever tiring. She was a choir member who displayed the work ethic and talent that allowed her to be excellent. She was a friend who delighted in making others laugh, offering challenges, and providing encouragement. Lindsay Keller filled my heart and helped me grow as a musician and human being. I will miss her dearly, but feel so fortunate to have had her as a friend.
